All six inmates who escaped from the Yakima County jail annex last Monday are back in jail today. All six spent the weekend in jail after the last escapee was arrested Friday.
Yakima County sheriff's officials say deputies found and arrested two inmates  Wednesday. On Thursday, authorities found and arrested three other inmates. They were found in Yakima, Vantage and Moses Lake. Friday, the last inmate to be arrested was found at a home in Wapato.
Thirty-one-year-old Fernando Castaneda-Sandoval was barricaded in the residence and gave himself up after a short negotiation with authorities Friday afternoon.
Last Monday, 14 inmates were able to use a table to break open a fire door, jump a fence and run away. Eight inmates were quickly taken back into custody but six others escaped. Authorities from around the valley and the state worked together last week to find the six escapees and get them back into jail today. All six face escape charges.
