7 different workers suffered radioactive skin contamination at Hanford early Tuesday morning. All 7 workers were working at the AX Tank farm when radioactive material was detected and the workers left the area according to news reports. After leaving the area it was found that 7 workers has contamination on their skin but at a low level.

After being found, the workers were sent to a decontamination center and cleaned of any radioactive residue. At the end of the work day, none of the workers had symptoms of radioactive sickness and none were referred to medical treatment. More tests will be given to the workers as a precaution to make sure they are free of radiation. The work was completed and no contamination was found out side of the tank.
