The Golden Globes Nominations were announced today, and I have NO idea what's going on. I'm a movie person, but I have seen maybe only 3 of the films nominated! Admittedly I didn't get to the theater as much as I usually do this year, but that being said I haven't even HEARD of most of the films nominated. Was my head just in the sand, or was this a dud year for movies?

Either way, here are the nominees from major categories. Maybe I was just watching more TV this year, I mean with shows like True Detective, Game of Thrones, and House of Cards, who really needs to go to the theater?
