High schoolers, this world was not created for you. You need to work your ass off to get somewhere in life. DOn't expect the silver platter to be handed to you, especially in today's world. You need to work longer, harder and faster than anyone else to get ahead in today's world. The biggest problem I find with kids today is they expect everything handed to them. They want to show up and make $40,000 a year with 3 weeks paid vacation. What you have to understand is this world is controlled by people outside of your generation and we're not going anywhere. So to get what we have you have to take it from us. You have to outwork us. You have to out think us. You have to have more drive than us. Quit asking for raises -- as a matter of fact quit asking for anything. Learn to give. Learn to work. Learn to buckle down and REALLY WORK! Do these things in either college or in the private sector and you will find yourself succeeding. Really go for it. Live for today. Leave it all out there. And take no prisoners.

  • Protect your hearing. Hearing loss isn't just that things become quieter. It's a lifetime of "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" ringing in your ears that never, ever, stops. And that's not all, you'll never have silence inside your head ever again. When your surroundings get quieter, the ringing just gets louder.
